The DA – led by Pritam Bamrah, offers training and performance opportunities to young people in various parts of UK. The organisation is based in East London in a multicultural area and in other towns and cities. DA has been active in connecting people living in UK to traditions and the North Indian musical heritage. In addition to professional drummers, the Dhol Academy also enables young budding artists to perform at events suitable for enhancing their learned musical skills. This provides an opportunity to perform in front of live audiences while working to develop east meets west fusion music.
